The EBA Southern Chapter is excited to cosponsor an annual  halfday program with the Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education Committee and the Administrative Law Section entitled, Florida Electric, Renewable and Telecommunications Updates:  the Interplay of Federal, State and Local Jurisdictions on October 6, 2017 at the Stetson Law Campus in Tampa, FL.

This event put on by the Public Utility Section of the Florida Bar Association brings together utility regulatory practitioners from government, industry, and others in the public and private sectors for annual continuing education, networking, and fellowship. The program will provide practical real-world information, addressing financing of renewables, Federal Energy Regulation Commission/State jurisdiction, negotiated policy making on bringing solar and utilities together, and  the 2017 law on collocation of wireless telecommunications devices on utility poles. EBA members from across the Southern Chapter will be provided with a thought-provoking update on utility issues and the opportunity for regional collaboration and networking from a location unique within our footprint.
