Reenergizing Peace: The Potential of Cooperative Energy to Produce a Sustainable and Peaceful Middle East.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Twice a year the ELJ sponsors an author talk by the author(s) of the lead article appearing each of the Journal's two editions. Alon Tal and Michael Roth of Tel Aviv University's Department of Public Policy will discuss their ELJ article – Reenergizing Peace: The Potential of Cooperative Energy to Produce a Sustainable and Peaceful Middle East. They will examine the relevance of provisions in the peace treaty between Jordan and Israel and in the Oslo Agreements to the potential for, and development of regional renewable energy generation and storage and desalination projects.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You must pre-register for on-site attendance. No registration fee refunds will be granted for cancellations received after May 28, 2021.
