To set the stage, this energizer will review the regulatory framework that enables competition in the electric transmission industry. The panelists will discuss the conclusions reached in two recent reports evaluating whether increased competition has led to the outcomes initially envisioned by regulators. The panelists will discuss the path forward - whether the scope of competition should be expanded or contracted, and how that might be achieved. Remote participation is also available.
Immediately following the educational program, there will be a reception hosted by Jenner & Block.
