Rate School is an affordable, comprehensive, course offering students the fundamentals of utility rate making by working on a “mock” utility rate case – Suburban Water. By the end of the class students will be have developed a revenue requirement for Suburban and will ready to design rates.

Continuing Education Credit: The National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.
This program is relevant to the following NASBA fields of study: accounting and auditing (corporate and governmental), business law, economics, finance, taxes, regulatory ethics, and specialized knowledge and applications.
For Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits and others, attendees may submit the certificate of attendance provided and the required application materials to their certifying body.
Cancellations: Written requests received by 5:00 pm on October 11, 2019 will be honored less a $95 processing fee. No refunds after October 11, 2019 without documentation of a medical emergency or flight cancellation by the airline. Cancellations by telephone are not accepted.
