Overview of EBA Brief
EBA Brief is an opportunity to engage the membership in its pursuit for professional excellence.
On a quarterly basis, EBA Brief will publish electronically, timely articles on energy-related legal or policy issues of interest to legal and energy professionals. Readers should expect insightful articles from colleagues on current cases, regulatory actions, and industry trends. EBA Brief will serve as an excellent opportunity for members to exchange ideas, remain current, and engage in open debate.
The vision for EBA Brief is a quarterly publication that will increase the value of membership by serving as a complement to the Energy Law Journal. The ELJ is EBA’s crown jewel, featuring substantial, in-depth articles. In contrast with the research-intensive effort ELJ pieces call for, EBA Brief will focus on shorter, topical pieces in an on-line magazine-style format, enabling authors to address issues of the day more nimbly.
This opportunity would not have taken form without the efforts and coordination of the EBA Board, the Foundation of the Energy Law Journal, the Energy Law Journal’s editorial staff, the George Washington University Law School, and the EBA Brief Task Force.
We strongly encourage members to consider submitting articles. Please visit the Submission Process tab to find out more.
