Directing a More Reliable Bulk-Power System

March 4 @ 12:00 pm 1:30 pm EST

Please join the Electricity Steering Committee for a winter Energizer: Directing a More Reliable Bulk-Power System. During the first year of Chairman Phillips’s term, FERC issued several major directives to NERC ordering the Electric Reliability Organization to develop Reliability Standards that will enhance cybersecurity, improve reliability during extreme weather conditions, and better integrate inverter-based resources into the Bulk-Power System. This Energizer will feature a discussion of the FERC Orders, NERC’s efforts to meet the directives on time, and opportunities to participate during the development of the Reliability standards. Panelists will consist of FERC, NERC, and industry representatives.
